unBOUND

EXPERIENCES

bonding doesn’t have to mean losing control

I’m interested in what happens between people.
The moment when the body stops rushing. The moment when breathing deepens. The moment when one can momentarily set aside roles, expectations, and the burden of constant control. Not because control is taken away, but because one no longer has to carry it alone for a moment.
That’s where my artistic practice begins.
I work with relationships, presence, and experiences. Shibari is one of the mediums of this work. Just as movement is the choreographer’s medium, and light the photographers, for me rope is a material that allows me to explore trust, closeness, boundaries, and rest.
I’m not interested in perfect form or technics. I’m more drawn to the process than the result, the experience rather than image. That which can’t be captured in a photograph. The moment when something softens. In the body. In the breath. In the way of being with another person.

I believe that care is a creative practice. That beauty is born from relationship, not perfection.
Rope provides structure, but it doesn’t impose anything. It can guide, support, embrace, or invite us to stop. Its power comes not from limiting, but from the possibility of trust. Paradoxically, it is precisely when we no longer need to control everything, that space for deep relaxation, breathing, and connection with ourselves appears.
I’m not seeking surrender. I’m interested in conscious choice. The moment when we can voluntarily set aside control and discover that bondage and freedom don’t have to be mutually exclusive. That structure can bring relief. That care can be felt.
Every encounter is co-creation.
I bring the experience of an artist, performer, and rope worker. The other person brings their body, history, boundaries, trust, and sensitivity. I don’t create ready-made scenarios. I create conditions in which something real can happen.

This isn’t a story about ropes.
It’s a story about an encounter.
About a space where one can feel safe and seen. Where there is room for silence and laughter, emotion and ignorance, concentration and rest. About the moment when you don’t have to prove anything.
Simply being is enough.
